Santiago, Chile - WEB Chile is set to implement its annual time change on Saturday, September 1st, 2023. The transition to Daylight Savings Time (DST) will occur at 11:59 PM on the designated date, requiring residents to advance their clocks by one hour. This adjustment aims to maximize natural daylight during the evening hours, providing more opportunities for outdoor activities.
The DST period will extend until the first weekend of April 2024. The shift back to standard time, known as the "autumn change," is typically scheduled for the Saturday before the first Sunday in April. The exact date for the 2024 autumn change will be announced closer to the time.
